To mark Redbourn’s 900th anniversary celebrations, the judges of the CPRE who visited Redbourn on 18th June, have given the award of Village of the Year (West).

Jack and I lived in Redbourn for many years, Jack was born next door to the Holly Bush. We decided to retire down to Devon in 2005, which we love. But we go back to Redbourn often, to visit family, and we still think it’s a great place, with the lovely common and friendly people
