To mark Redbourn’s 900th anniversary celebrations, the judges of the CPRE who visited Redbourn on 18th June, have given the award of Village of the Year (West).
The prizegiving will take place on 24th July in the morning at the War Memorial on the Common at 10:30 in the morning. It would be good to see the people who attended the judging in June, plus any others who would like to come along to see Redbourn receive its prize. Other villages from West Hertfordshire who won smaller prizes in the different categories will also send representatives to collect their awards. Redbourn won a lesser award in the People category last year.
Congratulations to everyone in the village for this wonderful and timely achievement.
