Tuesday 20th July
7.30pm, The Bull, High Street, Redbourn
A chance to celebrate the musical talent of Redbourn’s young and the not so young alike!
Calling all bands of whatever style: Indie; Folk; Thrash metal; dance; blues; soul; pop; jazz; funk; or good old Rock ‘n’ Roll – If you’re in a band, or thinking of forming one, (or were in one before you put your back out and the guitar away), here’s the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to come and strut your stuff. Loud or soft, big or small, young or old, giant of the guitar or tiddler of the tambourine – come and battle it out in front of a (largely) supportive and appreciative audience in The Bull.
Hosted by ******** you will have the opportunity to play and compete for the magnificent prize of ***********, and being crowned Battle of the Redbourn 900 Musical Wizards. (And of course, any soft fruit and veg thrown by the audience is yours to keep)
FOR THE EVENT TO GO AHEAD WE MUST HAVE ENTRIES. So don’t be shy – form a band, sign up, sharpen your plectrums and let battle commence.
More details to follow. Watch this site for updates

how do we sign up???

i emailed him a while ago, but he has not replied. i also received an email from gary atkinson tell me to email andrewruthrichards@hotmail.com, but there has been no reply…
I was told that as there were no entries to the event so it got cancelled and so there was only going to be the redbourn has talent instead
This is just a suggestion, but I work in The Bull and as of the 1st June, it is again being taken over by new people who apparently want to take it in a new direction.
Everyone who currently works there will not be working there anymore, and they apparently want to change everything around.
So it might be an idea to go and speak to someone after the 1st of June to find out whats going on, as they may not want to hold it there anymore.
Unfortunately, the arrangements were made last year with either Simon, Nick or Alan and the details have not been passed on to the succeeding landlords and landladies.
