The seasons, the landscape, the characters . . . the weather!
From Flanders & Swann to Cider with Rosie, this is a sparkling musical anthology in celebration of the British countryside. This delightfully funny show is presented by five of the most famous voices in the land – actors from the cast of Radio 4’s The Archers. The company includes Sara Coward (Caroline Stirling), Brian Hewlett (Neil Carter), John Telfer (Rev Alan Franks) and Carole Boyd who plays the fearsome Linda Snell.
Whether or not you are an Archers fan, don’t miss this heart-warming evening of poetry, prose, anecdote and song by Alan Bennett, Noël Coward, Roger McGough, Flanders & Swann, Gilbert & Sullivan, Laurie Lee, Dylan Thomas, Mrs Beeton, Lewis Carroll, and many more including Trad and Anon!
Come Rain, Come Shine is performed by five regular actors from the world’s longest-running radio drama serial. See this talented quintet step from behind the microphone and match the faces to the voices of your favourite Archers characters.
Come Rain, Come Shine was devised for The Archers 50th Anniversary and premièred in the glorious country house setting of Cliveden. The show has since played with huge success all over the UK, including: Salisbury, Guildford, the RAC Club, Exeter Festival, Three Choirs Festival, Stratford-upon-Avon Poetry Festival, the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park, and Swan Hellenic’s cruise ship Minerva.
